Al-loh-ha-mohr-ah

The title was chosen to precisely unlock the person inside me so that he can put some efforts to pen down his thoughts.

To start with I wanted to pen down a Tamil version of a Hindi song which had been lingering in my mind for so many years. The song " Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari" from the movie Kabhi Kabhi. Somehow I felt that this song went unnoticed due to the smashing hit of the title song.

The lyrics had a great impact as I grew up, got married and when my wife delivered our little girl. Dedicating this as an imaginary portray of my wife's thoughts about our daughter.

இளவேனில் தென்றல்  குதிரையாக,
மேகங்கள்  கொடியாக ,
நிலவொளி எனும் ரதம் தனில்
ஆழ்மனம் எனும் என் இல்லம் தேடி
ஓர் நாள் வந்தாள் ஒரு அழகிய சிறு தேவதை

பாலைவனமாய் இருந்த என் மனதை
பூஞ்சோலையாக மாற்றியது அவளின் வருகை
கோடி முறை பார்த்தாலும்
இன்னோர் முறை பார்க்க மாட்டோமா என
பார்க்க தூண்டிய  அவளின் பாசம் ததும்பிய முகம்.!!

தேனின் சுவையாம் அவளின் மொழி
பூக்களின் நறுமணமாய் அவளின் சுவாசம் ,
ரோஜா மொட்டுக்களாம்  இதழ்கள்,
மாதுளை சுளைகளாம்  கன்னங்கள் எனை  மெய் மறக்க செய்ய
பரவச நிலையை அடைந்து இருந்தேன் !!

பூங்குழலாய் ஒலித்த தேவதையின் புன்சிரிப்பு
எனை  இயல்பு இலைக்கு மீட்க
அவளிடம் கேட்டேன்
யாரம்மா நீ என்று.

புன் முறுவல் பூத்த தேவதை சொன்னாள்
நான் தான் உனது அன்பின் வெளிப்பாடு ,
இதுவரை உனது இதயத்தில் அருவாய் இருந்த நான் , கருவாய் மலர்ந்து , மனித உருக்கொண்டு
உன் மகளாய்  பிறந்து இருக்கிறேன் என்றாள் .

எனது அருமை மகளே , நீ வாழி !
இவ்வையகத்தில்  நீ வாழப்போகும் இக்கணம் முதல்
என்றென்றும் உனது வரவால் எல்லோரையும்
இன்புற்று இருக்க செய்வாய் !!
